The story: by Sheela George
The young 21-year-old Wilson was excited and thankful that Siyyon Desh (written in 1978) was very well received by believers and had become a great blessing to the Churches. Thereafter God opened doors of ministry in several places.
In 1979, Pastor Wilson was invited to minister in a convention in Bhopal. Traveling in the train, he was meditating about the blessed hope in Christ Jesus. And the words and melody of the song, ‘Hum Vishvasiyon Ke Liye’, flowed out from the heart. He wrote the chorus and the first verse while in journey. After coming back to Raipur, by God’s grace, he wrote the remaining verses.
This song, along with several hundreds of his other compositions, have ministered to millions for more than 4 decades now. This song was recorded in our first album titled ‘Anant Aasha’ in 1986. This is a beautiful Song of Hope.
Praise the Lord for the blessed and glorious Hope we have in Christ Jesus. It is the anchor of our soul!
- We have a Hope for the present - that our Lord is always with us; so we are not alone. He has promised, “I will never leave you, never forsake you.” “I am with you always, even to the end of age.” He loves us and has a purpose for each one of us.
- We have a Hope for the future - that we will be with Him in eternity in glory.
- We have a Hope even concerning our past - that God can and will forgive, heal, restore and transform all our past failures and wrongs.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”
